Omar Rajab Ahmed, born on December 29, 1979, in Kibra, Nairobi, is an amateur boxer from Kenya. He is known for winning a gold medal in the men’s heavyweight division (– 91 kg) at the 1995 All-Africa Games in Harare, Zimbabwe. Omar represented Kenya at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, as the youngest member of the Kenyan Olympic Team at 16 years old. He lost in the second round to Canadian David Defiagbon. Additionally, he earned a gold medal in Men’s Heavyweight at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia.
